If you've encountered a bug in one of my software projects, have a question about how to use it, want to share feedback on it or anything else I've made, or just want to chat, you can reach me via this contact form. It will deliver your message to an inbox directory on my web server. The directory is configured as inaccessible to visitors and is thus confidential as long as you're using HTTPS.

Contact is managed in this way to protect my anonymity and prevent automated spam. For the same reason, your IP address will be logged with your message, in case I need to add spam bots to a blacklist. As long as you're using HTTPS, you and I are the only people who will see your IP address with your message, and even if it weren't logged, it would unavoidably be possible for me to see it anyway, since I run the server and the server has to know where your HTTP requests are coming from so the webpages can make their way back to your browser. I promise I won't abuse this information. If you're still worried, I suggest using a proxy.

To conserve VPS disk space, your message length is limited to 128KiB, or equivalently, 65536 characters.

The message box itself is the only required field. All others are optional, but preferred.
